HELP wanted - put the green to bed

The end of the season is fast approaching and we are asking for help to 'put the green to bed' and get the ditch/bank areas ready for the various improvement works that are due to be carried out early October.

We would like assistance on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th September. Any time you may be able to give between the hours of 9.00am and 3.00pm would be much appreciated. Depending on the number of volunteers and the weather, we should be able to complete the works in the 2 days. NOTE:- If you are thinking of offering some help on the Tuesday, it may be worth phoning Keith on 07748 400133 before you leave home in case everything has actually been completed on the Monday, thus avoiding you having any wasted journeys.

Works would include but not limited to:- the removal, cleaning, storing and covering of the rubber ditch infills - the removal and storage of the stones between the path and bank edge on the side near the cricket field - the benches/bins relocated to the rear of the Clubhouse and covered.

Tea and Biscuits will be available throughout the days.

Taking note of the above dates, we would also point out that the last Tuesday morning roll-up will be 23rd September.
